Day 4 of our Rome/Tuscany group trip was visiting Siena followed by a stop in Greve and dinner at Vignamaggio in the Chianti region.
My mom, although regularly does not use a wheelchair, but for this trip, we had one with us as there was a lot of walking and we wanted her to take a rest when she needed to while keeping up with the group. A feel-good moment for me in Siena was watching people in our group help us carry her in the wheelchair down steps. Teamwork makes the dream work! The detail in the architecture of the Duomo in Siena was impressive. We enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Antica Trattoria Papei.
We stopped in Greve in Chianti for a visit and picked up some wine we later enjoyed at a party we had at our hotel on our evening of leisure! For dinner we headed to Vignamaggio winery, where they filmed the movie Much Ado About Nothing. The view from there was breathtaking! We had our dinner table set overlooking the green rolling hills of Tuscany. Sunset was a dream to watch from there.
Is Tuscany on your list? If so, I’m excited to help plan your Italian dream trip. You can contact me at: info@dmctraveltailor.com and or stefany@largaytravel.com.
