As May blossoms and the festive spirit of Cinco de Mayo is in the air, our thoughts for future travel plans turn to the vibrant land of Mexico. More than just a day for celebration and a few margaritas, Cinco de Mayo offers the fantastic opportunity to delve into the rich history, captivating culture, and breathtaking landscapes that make Mexico a truly special destination. 

Cinco de Mayo, observed annually on May 5th, commemorates the Mexican army's surprising victory over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Beyond the celebrations, Mexico is a country with a lot to offer travelers. You can explore ancient ruins, relax on beautiful beaches, or visit lively cities with a rich history. Los Cabos: An upcoming popular destination, Los Cabos is a stunning mix of dramatic cliff-like landscapes and lush beaches, perfect for both relaxing in the sun and squeezing in some adventure. During the months of December through April, you can even see pods of whales migrating through the ocean in Los Cabos. Guadalajara

As the second-largest city in Mexico, Guadalajara is a melting pot of culture, tradition, and dozens of unique neighborhoods to explore for an authentic and unforgettable experience. Known as the birthplace of tequila and mariachi, you’re sure to hear live music around every corner. The city of Guadalajara also boasts stunning colonial architecture, particularly around the historic city center.
